Spring 2026 What I learned

This term was a major balancing act. I took three morning theology classes but had to travel mid-semester to the Philippines for MWC staff meetings and family time. Transitioning to Zoom learning across time zones fractured my focus and forced me to miss a few sessions, but thanks to understanding professors and some serious time management, I caught up on all my exams and assignments.

This paper examines the phases of biblical despair in Lamentations 3:1–21, interpreting the poem through seven emotional stages—anger, physical harm, isolation, exaggeration, self-pity, numbness, and acceptance.
